Google calendars are an integral part of these projects.  It's the work to maintain them that makes them valuable.  They are about providing information about what is happening today, but also about providing more information about the event source, and the people providing the service or event.

Below, I'm doing voter outreach at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, during their free community meal they offer on the first and fifth Sunday's of the month, 4:30 to 6pm.
